Harrogate’s cherry blossom has once again returned to the town.
Planted in 1953 for Queen Elizabeth II’s coronation, the majestic trees on the Stray draw visitors from far and wide.
The cherry blossom is significant in Japanese culture and represents the transience of life.
And each year, Harrogate’s display attracts many Japanese tourists to marvel at the town’s sea of pink.
The Stray Ferret also bumped into local ballet dancer Frankie Kelham, who was enjoying the spring bloom.
The Stray Ferret has put together a gallery of the Stray's seasonal display.
