A Grammy-nominated DJ is among the headliners set to take to the stage at Harrogate’s annual dance music festival.
Love to Be Harrogate will return to the Stray on September 5 this year – the third event of its kind in the town.
After proving popular, Love to Be organisers promised the “biggest global house music artists” across three stages this year.
Today (February 25) they revealed the headline act will be Claptone, who is known for donning a distinctive golden mask during his sets.
The German DJ and producer, who boasts more than 720,000 Instagram followers, has been ranked 30th in DJ Mag’s top 100 DJs ranking.
Alongside Claptone, Grammy-nominated and Leeds-born DJ, Paul Woolford, who also performs under the alias Special Request, will take to the Stray stage.
Known for his 2021 song Looking for Me, Woolford has worked alongside artists such as Sam Smith and Disclosure.

As reported by the Stray Ferret last month, Love to Be has already announced the return of TV-star-turned-DJ Gok Wan at this year’s event.
Another Grammy-nominated artist and producer, Mousse T, is also among the line-up, as well as Sam Divine, K-Klass, Trimtone and Todd Terry.
Tickets for Love to Be Harrogate, which is put on by Sheffield-based events company and record label Love to Be, are on sale now.
VIP tickets promise a "pamper room and posh loos" for ravers looking for a slightly more refined experience.
