The 32-metre high vision wheel is returning Harrogate.
Construction workers were erecting the frame for the wheel alongside the war memorial this morning.
It will be available to ride daily — weather permitting — from 11am to 7pm from Friday, August 15 until Sunday, September 7.
The Stray Ferret revealed in June that North Yorkshire Council had decided to bring the wheel back in summer rather than as part of the Harrogate Christmas Fayre.
It said poor weather meant the wheel could not operate to its full potential in winter.
Ripon also had a big wheel in April, which provided stunning views over the cathedral city.
