A new interior design store will open in Harrogate in March.
Roomsmiths is setting up on Albert Street, in the unit which used to house Hillarys.
The company is co-owned by Jen Danks and Cheryl Duerden, both of whom have more than 20 years of experience as interior designers.
They have designed pubs, bars and restaurants as well as family homes.
Speaking to the Stray Ferret, Ms Danks said they were relocating their flagship store to Harrogate from Cheltenham.
She added:
I’m from Leeds and my partner is from Guiseley. Harrogate is close to home, and it’s a beautiful area for us to set up. We hope to have a successful business and be part of the community here.
We’re friendly, approachable people and think the biggest selling point is ourselves.
Roomsmiths will sell interior décor such as curtains and blinds, as well as offering expert interior design advice.
Ms Danks added that their company is partnering with Luxaflex, a custom-made blinds and shutters company.
Roomsmiths will soft-launch a public opening next week, but Ms Danks said that it will not fully open until March 7.
It will be open from Tuesday to Saturday, from 10am to 4pm.
