A Harrogate man has been fined after intentionally damaging a housing association property.
Aaron Herbert, of Tyson Place, appeared at York Magistrates Court on Monday (September 8), when he pleaded guilty to one offence of criminal damage to property valued under £5,000.
According to court documents, Herbert intentionally damaged a door lock, a door frame and an intercom system at a property on Stonefall Avenue on July 15.
The property is owned by Harrogate Housing Association and the damage caused was valued at £184.
The 51-year-old was ordered to pay £184 in compensation, a £40 fine, a £16 surcharge and £85 in prosecution costs.
