It’s a big day for Taylor Swift fans, with the release of her new album and a cinema film about it.
The Life of a Showgirl, the American singer-songwriter’s 12th studio album, was released at 5am.
The Odeon in Harrogate is among the cinemas broadcasting an 89-minute film tonight celebrating the release. It will include the world premiere of the music video The Fate of Ophelia.
Tiffany Snowden, Harrogate’s Taylor Swift superfan, was up at 5am listening to The Life of a Showgirl and has booked a ticket for tonight's Odeon viewing.
Ms Snowden has organised album release parties before in Harrogate for Swifties.

She booked one this time at Starling on Oxford Street but later cancelled due to low numbers, which she attributes to the short lead up to the album’s release and tonight's cinema release.
The Life of a Showgirl has received mixed reviews so far but Ms Snowden described it as “a breath of fresh air”.
I think the uncertainty is something that happens with every Taylor album, it takes a few days for the songs to sink in and people to process them. Personally, I think it’s a breath of fresh air — the production is very nostalgic which is 100% Max Martin’s influence and is reminiscent of old Hollywood and early noughties sounds.
The Tortured Poet’s Department (Swift’s 11th album) was very heavy in both lyrics and production, so this is a lot more upbeat and like she’s letting her hair down a bit after the tour. The first five songs are the strongest for me, but I think the closing track with Sabrina Carpenter is also quite poignant, and touches on the price of fame, with call backs to her earlier songs of the same subject - The Lucky One and Clara Bow.
Swifties unable to secure a ticket for tonight’s 8pm and 8.20pm viewings at the Harrogate Odeon can console themselves with the news that there will be seven more screenings tomorrow and another seven on Sunday.
