A Harrogate sibling duo will step onto the international stage in their respective sports next weekend.
Max Dodds, 20, will compete in the 4 Hours of Barcelona endurance motorsport race in Spain, while Mila Dodds, 14, will also fly to Spain to compete for England Golf’s under-16s team against the host nation.
Max’s race will take place on Sunday, April 12, while Mila’s golf tournament will run across Saturday and Sunday (April 11 & 12).
Both athletes have built impressive reputations for themselves in their sports, even at a young age.
Last season, Max won £131,000 after winning the Ligier European LMP4 Series — an entry-level endurance championship raced across Europe.

LMP4, or Le Mans Prototype 4, features beginner prototype cars designed to introduce drivers to endurance racing.
Following that success, the young racer has stepped up to LMP3 cars — a significant jump in level – where he will now compete in the European Le Mans LMP3 Series.
While the cars may look similar, LMP3 machinery is faster, more powerful and far more demanding to drive, marking a move into the professional ranks.
The series will take Max across France, Spain, Italy, Belgium, the UK and Portugal as he aims to replicate last year's success.
He will get another chance to race at the iconic Le Mans Circuit de la Sarthe track, where the then-19-year-old and his co-driver Iko Segret won a round of last year’s series in front of 50,000 people.
Fourteen-year-old Mila Dodds is also continuing her impressive rise in elite sport.
Last year’s winner of the 2025 Bronte Law Junior Series at Moor Allerton Golf Club, Mila has now been selected as part of England Golf’s eight-player under-16s squad to face Spain in the capital.
She will be making her England Golf debut in the tournament, which will be held at Madrid’s Centro Nacional de la RFEG.
The youngster has already been recognised as one of the country’s most exciting young talents, placing second in her age group at the Daily Mail World Junior Golf Championship.

When the Stray Ferret spoke to her last year, the 0.8 handicap golfer said that her main aim was to be awarded a wildcard to enter the Ladies PGA Tour.
The Dodds siblings represent a unique sporting story.
As Max takes to the track and Mila steps onto the fairways of Madrid, both continue to showcase their individual talent and shared determination for success.
