A man has been accused of intending to deal drugs in Harrogate.
Robert Perry, 36, appeared at Harrogate Magistrates Court yesterday (February 19) charged with four offences: possession with intent to supply cannabis; produce cannabis; possession with intent to supply cocaine and purchasing a weapon for the discharge of a noxious liquid, gas or electrical incapacitation device.
He gave no indication of plea to all the charges.
It is alleged Mr Perry had in his possession on April 20, 2023, a quantity of cocaine with intent to supply it to others.
The offence allegedly occurred at Hill Top Close in Harrogate.
On the same date, again at Hill Top Close, Mr Perry is accused of possessing cannabis, intending to supply it to others.
Court documents also claim Mr Perry purchased or acquired a Taser without the authority of the secretary of state at Cotefields Avenue in Pudsey, which is alleged to have occurred between an unknown date and April 20, 2023.
The defendant, of Cotefields Avenue in Pudsey, is also accused of producing a quanting of cannabis between an unknown date and November 14, 2023.
The case was transferred to York Crown Court, where Mr Perry is due to appear on March 23.
