A man has admitted several offences in Harrogate.
Hani Hemmat, 48, admitted two counts of theft and one count of assault by beating during a hearing at York Magistrates Court last Friday (April 24).
According to court records, Hemmat stole cans of alcohol of an unknown value from Tesco on Cambridge Road on April 9.
Hemmat also stole two bottles of wine totalling £50 from M&S on April 23 – his birthday – and assaulted a named man on Cambridge Street that same day.
He appeared in court the following day, when the case was adjourned until July 3.
Hemmat, who is of no fixed address, will be sentenced at Harrogate Magistrates Court that day.
He was released on conditional bail, which prohibits him from entering M&S and Primark in Harrogate, as well as Tesco Express on Cambridge Road.
