A man has been charged with sexually assaulting a woman in Harrogate.
Andris Graudins, of Cooper Mews, Bradford, appeared before Harrogate Magistrates Court on Friday (September 5), where he spoke to confirm his name, age and address.
Mr Graudins, 52, is charged under the Sexual Offences Act 2003 with two counts of sexual assault on a named female on July 18, 2023.
He is also alleged to have assaulted the female, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, by penetration with part of his body on the same date.
Magistrates referred the matter to York Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
Mr Graudins will appear before crown court on October 13, 2025.
