    Man wanted for 'serious assault' could be in Harrogate, police say

    A wanted man could be in Harrogate, police have said.

    North Yorkshire Police today said 19-year-old Jay Gibson, who is from the Harrogate area, is wanted in connection with a serious assault.

    The force said officers have carried out a number of enquiries and are now appealing to the public to report any sightings of him.

    Gibson is believed to be in Harrogate but he also has links to Dewsbury in West Yorkshire.

    Today’s statement added:

    If you have seen him or know where we can find him, please call North Yorkshire Police on 101 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online.
