Both fire engines at Harrogate were called out last night to a caravan fire in the town.
The crews were alerted to reports of the blaze outside a house at St Andrew’s Crescent at 3.22am.
The street is situated off Knaresborough Road.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service’s incident report said:
The caravan was parked on the driveway of a residential premises. Crews used a hose reel jet and two breathing apparatus to extinguish. A thermal imaging camera was used to check for hotspots, the gas cylinder within the caravan was not affected by the fire.
