Police would like to speak to a man after a car was stolen in Harrogate last month.
North Yorkshire Police today (December 28) said a black Mercedes C-Class with the registration WD17 GYO was stolen from Cranesbill Close in “late November”.
An exact date was not provided.
Today’s statement added after extensive enquiries, officers have secured CCTV footage from the Castleford area, which “suggests the vehicle was being driven south shortly after the theft”.
Police are now trying to locate the man in the CCTV image as they believe he might have information that could assist the investigation.
Officers have urged anyone who recognises the man in the photo or saw a car matching the description in the Harrogate or Castleford areas at the time to get in touch.
