Police are trying to locate two men after a sexual assault in Harrogate.
North Yorkshire Police today said the incident, which happened at around 12.45pm on March 5, occurred on Station Parade.
The force added a young female was approached by two men whom she did not know.
One of the men “sexually touched her” as she was trying to walk away, police said, adding the female then ran into the road, fearing for her safety.
The suspects are both described as being white and of average build. One is described as having short, grey hair, wearing dark trousers and carrying something over his right shoulder.
The other man is described as being taller, wearing a dark top with a hood and dark trousers, police said.
Today’s statement added:
We’re particularly appealing for information from anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or passing motorists with dashcam footage, to help us identify the two men involved.
