North Yorkshire Police has said the recent death of a man in his 20s in Harrogate is not regarded as suspicious.
Police cordoned off part of the Harrogate Ringway footpath and deployed officers to guard the scene after the body was discovered on January 29.
Entrances to the ringway on Kent Road and Oakdale Glen were both closed.
Police said the following day enquiries into the circumstances surrounding his death were ongoing.
The Stray Ferret asked the constabulary for an update.
A spokesperson replied:
“Our enquiries have determined that the death is not suspicious. A file is being submitted for the coroner.”
