RSPCA brings bull terrier charge against Harrogate man
A Harrogate man has appeared in court charged with failing to provide adequate veterinary treatment for his dog.
Daniel Alderson, 28, of Kennion Court, is alleged to have not taken reasonable steps to look after a bull terrier called Reggie when it required medical help.
The case was brought by the charity the RSPCA, which prosecutes individuals for alleged animal welfare offences.
It claims Mr Alderson did not provide adequate effective and professional veterinary treatment for Reggie’s chronic ear condition between April 10, 2024 and July 12, 2024 at Kennion Court.
The case was adjourned by magistrates in Harrogate on Thursday last week (February 26).
Mr Alderson was released on unconditional bail and is due to return to the court on May 21 for trial.
