Entries for the annual Rudding Park 10.5-kilometre race will open at 6pm tonight.
The race, which regularly sells out, caters for up to 675 runners and costs £36 to enter, or £34 for those affiliated to a running club. It will take place on Tuesday, May 19.
The scenic route includes paths and woodland trails around the Rudding estate and Crimple Beck, near Harrogate.
The event includes a DJ reception, hog roast and a Prosecco drink for entrants, plus what race organisers describe as “the best goody bag in the UK”.
More than 300 runners started the inaugural Rudding ParkRace in 2022, which was started by Olympic triathlon gold medallist Jonny Brownlee.
It has since grown to become a regular fixture on the race calendar.
A total of 693 runners completed last year’s race, which was won by Ilkley Harriers’ Thomas Adams in a time of 34.17 minutes. Wetherby Runners’ Seonaid Thompson was the first female home in 43.03.
Ripon Runners’ Ted Leahy and Nidd Valley Road Runners’ Louise Kingston were the first finishers from Harrogate district clubs.
This year’s event will raise money for the charity Mind in Harrogate District.
