A Harrogate man has denied threatening to slit his neighbours' throats and kicking gravel at their dogs.
Paul Bullough, 81, of The Avenue in Starbeck, appeared before Harrogate Magistrates Court on Thursday (November 27) where he spoke to confirm his name, age and address.
Mr Bullough denied a charge of harassment without violence, which was alleged to have taken place between March 30, 2024, and July 9, 2025.
The court heard that the 81-year-old is alleged to have threatened to slit the named victims’ throats, repeatedly kicked gravel over the fence at their dogs, hit their window and swore at them.
He is also said to have driven into their fence regularly and shouted at them to shut up due to noises their dogs were making.
The case was adjourned for trial at Harrogate Magistrates Court on April 9, 2026.
