North Yorkshire Council has awarded a £63,645 contract for the improvement of play areas in Harrogate and Ripon.
The contract for the work has been awarded to Selby-firm Streetscape (Product and Services) Ltd.
According to the contract, the project will involve the supply and installation of new play equipment and safety surfacing.
It will involve three play areas on Roberts Crescent and St Patrick’s Way in Harrogate, as well as Doublegates Avenue in Ripon.
In a decision notice, the council said work is expected to start this month (March) and be completed the following month.
