Two men accused of gun offences in Harrogate
Two men have been accused of gun offences in Harrogate.
Robbie Neslon and Kyle Bostock, both 27, appeared at York Magistrates Court yesterday (March 24) each charged with possessing a firearm less than 30cm/60cm long and acquiring ammunition for a firearm without a certificate.
According to court documents, the co-defendants are both alleged to have possessed a handgun with a barrel about 12 inches long without the authority of the secretary of state.
Mr Nelson and Mr Bostock are also accused of purchasing or acquiring four rounds of ammunition without the authorisation of a firearms certificate.
All alleged offences occurred in Harrogate on October 6, 2024.
The case was transferred to York Crown Court.
Both Mr Neslon, who is of no fixed abode but was remanded in custody, and Mr Bostock, who is also of no fixed abode, are expected to enter pleas at the crown court on April 27.
