Visitors can enjoy live entertainment throughout the day, including Dancing for Well-Being, Aspin School Choir, Medusa Gothic Morris, magician The Fantastic Mr Forster, a bubble workshop, Tewit Youth Band and The Chorus Crew – offering something for all ages across the schedule.
Alongside the performances, the event aims to showcase the people and projects that make Knaresborough’s community so distinctive, with a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere for families and visitors alike.

Ripon Races
Ripon is throwing it back this Saturday with a themed event inspired by the 1930s, when a day at the races was as much about fashion, theatre and social spectacle as it was about the horses.
Visitors are invited to fully embrace the era, with vintage dress encouraged and a lively atmosphere built on the sights, sounds and style of a bygone age. Expect a nostalgic nod to racing culture at its most glamorous – think period charm, playful theatrics and plenty of opportunities to get into the spirit of the day.
Whether you go all-in with the 1930s outfits or simply come to soak up the atmosphere, it’s a chance to experience Ripon’s racing heritage in a more immersive, theatrical way than your usual day at the track.
Tickets from £8, from 11.30am, Saturday April 25, Ripon Races, Boroughbridge Road, Ripon, HG4 1UG.

Pateley Bridge Makers Yard
Pateley Bridge’s creative community is putting its work in the spotlight this weekend with a spring showcase celebrating independent makers.
The Jewellery Quarter Spring Showcase brings together local artisans displaying handmade jewellery and craft pieces, offering visitors the chance to browse and buy directly from creators. It’s part exhibition, part market, and a chance to support small creative businesses in the Nidderdale area.
A relaxed stop-off for anyone exploring the dales this weekend, with plenty of unique pieces on display.
Free, April 25-26, 4-7pm Saturday 25, 10am-4pm Sunday 26, Pateley Makers Yard, Pateley Bridge, HG3 5LE.

Can you solve the murder?
Leyburn is offering something a little darker this weekend with an immersive murder mystery experience.
The event invites participants to step into a whodunnit-style evening where guests work together to uncover clues, interrogate characters and piece together the identity of the culprit. Expect intrigue, suspicion and plenty of twists along the way as the story unfolds.
This interactive event includes a delicious three-course meal and is ideal for groups looking for something different from a standard night out.
Tickets from £38.50pp, from 6.30pm Saturday April 25, The Garden Rooms – Tennants, Harmby Road, Leyburn, DL8 5SG.
Expect plenty of sparks this Sunday as Harrogate Theatre hosts a high-energy science show designed for curious minds of all ages.
The performance promises live experiments, interactive demonstrations and plenty of “wow” moments as the team explores electricity, reactions and the more dramatic side of science.
It’s pitched as a family-friendly show that blends education with entertainment, bringing scientific principles to life on stage.
Tickets from £15, 1pm, Sunday April 26, Harrogate Theatre, Harrogate, HG1 1QF.
