Knaresborough Community Festival returns this weekend with a full day of free entertainment and family-friendly activities.

Held at Henshaws Arts & Crafts Centre, the festival brings together local performers, schools and community groups for a packed programme celebrating creativity and togetherness.

Visitors can enjoy live entertainment throughout the day, including Dancing for Well-Being, Aspin School Choir, Medusa Gothic Morris, magician The Fantastic Mr Forster, a bubble workshop, Tewit Youth Band and The Chorus Crew – offering something for all ages across the schedule.

Alongside the performances, the event aims to showcase the people and projects that make Knaresborough’s community so distinctive, with a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere for families and visitors alike.

Ripon is throwing it back this Saturday with a themed event inspired by the 1930s, when a day at the races was as much about fashion, theatre and social spectacle as it was about the horses.

The Jewellery Quarter Spring Showcase brings together local artisans displaying handmade jewellery and craft pieces, offering visitors the chance to browse and buy directly from creators. It’s part exhibition, part market, and a chance to support small creative businesses in the Nidderdale area.

Leyburn is offering something a little darker this weekend with an immersive murder mystery experience.
