A car collided with a fallen tree in Knaresborough last night (December 7).
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said in a statement this morning that a crew from Knaresborough was summoned to Hazel Bank at 8.06pm.
Hazel Bank is part of Boroughbridge Road between Scriven and Ferrensby.
The statement added:
“A crew from Knaresborough attended a single vehicle road traffic collision in which a vehicle had collided with a fallen tree.
The occupants were out of the vehicle on arrival and crews used a recip saw, small tools, lighting and crew power to cut and remove the tree from the vehicle and make the scene safe.
The occupants, who were assessed by ambulance crews, had no injuries.”
