A spoof plaque commemorating actor Danny Dyer’s time in Knaresborough has been put up in the town.
Dyer, Kiefer Sutherland and Rebel Wilson filmed a Christmas movie called Tinsel Town at various locations in Knaresborough in February.
He proved a big hit with locals, including hairdresser Kelly Teggin, who has a salon on Castlegate.
She and principal stylist Helen Baxter even managed to get a photo alongside Dyer outside her salon.
Now Ms Teggin has erected the fake plaque bearing the actor’s name and the citation: ‘Here he once stood. It was cold but he was hot. He ran his fingers through our hair. Never forgot!”
Ms Teggin told the Stray Ferret:
We have had so much love for our photo from our customers saying how jealous they are we had him outside the salon. We are going to be dining out on this moment for years. We hope it becomes a movie hotspot for visitors once the movie is out.
