Knaresborough’s biggest day of the year came round again on Saturday (June 14).
An estimated crowd of about 30,000 flocked to the market town to witness the annual Great Knaresborough Bed Race.
The theme for the beds this year was TV ads.
As for the race itself, which lasts 2.4 miles and finishes with a River Nidd crossing, running aces GH Brooks won their sixth consecutive title.
They beat their personal best with an impressive time of 12 minutes and 58 seconds.
Knaresborough Striders were second again, recording a time of 13:32.
