How much will you have to pay to park in Harrogate district under new charges?
New tariffs were revealed this week for on and off street parking in the Harrogate district.
The charges, by North Yorkshire Council, will see the cost of parking more than double in many locations and even triple for street parking at Market Square, Knaresborough.
The changes are expected to be ratified this week and then introduced in April to generate £3.6 million a year for the council.

Prices will triple at Market Square in Knaresborough
The cost to park for half an hour will increase from £1.10 to £1.70 on the following Harrogate streets: Albert Street, Cambridge Road, Cheltenham Crescent, Cheltenham Parade, Crescent Road (part), James Street, John Street, Montpellier Gardens, Montellier Hill, Montpellier Road, Montpellier Square, Parliament Street, Princes Square, Prospect Place, Raglan Street, Station Parade (part), Union Street, Victoria Avenue (part) and West Park.
The cost to park for half an hour will increase from 90p to £1.50 on the following Harrogate streets: Commercial Street, Crescent Gardens, Crescent Road (part), Lower Station Parade, Marlborough Road, Mount Parade, Ripon Road, Royal Parade, St Mary's Walk, Station Parade (part), Victoria Avenue (part_ and West Park (part).
The cost of parking in Market Square, Knaresborough will increase from 60p to £1.30 for half an hour, 80p to £2.80 for one hour and £1.50 to £4.40 for two hours.
