A woman from Knaresborough required rescuing last night when her leg became trapped in a freak incident.
Firefighters from the town were summoned at 11.13pm (December 5) to help the woman.
By the time they arrived a neighbour had come to her assistance.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said in a statement:
“Crew from Knaresborough responded to reports of a female who had become trapped after her car rolled backwards as she was getting out, trapping her leg between the vehicle and a conservatory wall.
“On arrival of crews a neighbour had managed to move the vehicle off the lady. Crew used an immediate emergency care pack to administer first aid until arrival of paramedics.”
