A motorcyclist suffered a punctured lung in a serious collision near Tockwith last week.
North Yorkshire Police yesterday (March 17) said the crash, which occurred at 8.50am on March 10, happened on Fleet Lane "after the junction with Blind Lane and prior to entering the village of Tockwith”.
It involved a grey Audi E-Tron and an Aprilia motorcycle.
Police added:
The rider of the motorcycle was taken to Harrogate District Hospital, where he was treated for a punctured lung and broken ribs.
Officers are now appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage to assist their investigation:
We’re appealing for any witnesses to the collision, anyone who may have seen the vehicles prior to the collision, or anyone with relevant dashcam footage, to contact us.
