Police are investigating criminal activity at a level crossing between Harrogate and Knaresborough.
According to a North Yorkshire Police statement tonight (March 5), it happened at Belmont Level Crossing in the early hours of Tuesday (March 3).
The statement said:
"Vehicles belonging to railway workers working in the area have been damaged and expensive equipment taken from within including climbing equipment and chainsaws.
"If you have any information or any possible cctv/doorbell footage please contact PC 1223 Colin Irvine via email colin.irvine@northyorkshire.police.uk."
Belmont level crossing is on Forest Moor Lane.
