Join thousands of expected visitors at the Harrogate Autumn Flower Show this weekend at Newby Hall, Ripon, to browse and get inspired by displays of beautiful flowers and spectacular produce.
Staged by the North of England Horticultural Society (NEHS), the show will feature the National Dahlia and Chrysanthemum Northern Championships as well as the popular giant fruit and veg competitions.
There’ll also be live talks, demos and gardening advice from the experts.

Comedian Ria Lina will be performing her stand-up show this Friday night at Fraser Theatre in Knaresborough.
The actress and writer is known for her sharp wit and intelligent humour in the stand-up comedy scene and has been in renowned shows such as Mock the Week, Live at the Apollo and Have I Got News for You.
With a background in both science and the arts – holding degrees in virology and forensic science – she brings a unique perspective to her comedy, often blending social commentary with observational humour.

Part of its drama season this September, Bedroom Farce is on every evening this week until Saturday evening, and also has a Saturday matinee performance.
The gleeful comedy is set in three bedrooms, where four couples struggle hilariously with the ups and downs of their rocky relationships.

Taking place in the picturesque surrounds of Bewerley Park, Pateley Bridge, the Nidderdale Show is one of the county’s most well-known agricultural shows, attracting up to 15,000 attendees.
It celebrates farming traditions, with top-class livestock, horse and dog sections, and the event typically marks the end of the agricultural show season.
