North Yorkshire Police has said it believes a Land Rover fire in Ripon was started deliberately.
Police were alerted to the fire on Sandy Lane on Sunday, October 26. Firefighters extinguished the blaze.
Officers today (October 30) appealed for witnesses. In a statement, the force said:
“The vehicle was an open top Land Rover. the fire was believed to have been started deliberately.
“We are appealing to anyone with any information that could assist our investigation to come forward.”
