Looking for the perfect way to make mum feel truly special this Mother’s Day? Whether she loves lively family fun, great food, or peaceful pampering, the Harrogate district has something for every mum. 

From giant inflatables to cosy pub roasts, and from soothing sound baths to creative floral workshops, here are five ways to celebrate this Mother's Day.

Mothering Funday brings family fun to Harrogate

Harrogate BID will once again host their Mothering Funday on Saturday 14 March, the day before Mother's Day, which promises to be packed with free entertainment for families.

The star attraction is a giant inflatable challenge where participants try to remain standing on their podiums while dodging spinning arms.

There will also be chances to win prizes for mums and guardians, including a £100 Harrogate Gift Card which can be redeemed at nearly 100 local retailers, as well as additional giveaways from local businesses.

Those wanting a traditional Mother’s Day treat can head to The King's Head in Masham, where families will be welcomed for a classic Sunday meal.

The Chef & Brewer pub will be serving a set menu for Mother’s Day which includes hearty roasts and comforting British favourites in a cosy countryside setting. It’s a simple way to gather the family and celebrate together over a proper pub lunch.

For those who are busy over the weekend, a spring floral wreath workshop in Knaresborough is offering a creative way to celebrate Mother’s Day on March 19.
