Ripon woman accused of harassment
A Ripon woman has been accused of harassment.
Sarah Greensit, 33, appeared at Harrogate Magistrates Court this morning (October 30) charged with the offence.
Ms Greensit is alleged to have called and messaged a named man and threatened violence towards him, which would have led the man to fear that violence would be used against him.
The alleged offence occurred between October and December last year.
Ms Greensit, of Harrogate Road, gave no indication of plea and requested the case be transferred to a crown court.
This was accepted by the magistrates and the case was sent to York Crown Court, where Ms Greensit is due to appear on December 1.
