Watch Tony Moore perform his rock spectacle, Awake

This Saturday, The Frazer Theatre welcomes a truly electrifying performance as Tony Moore, original member of Iron Maiden, takes the stage with his one-man show, Awake. 

With a career spanning iconic bands like Cutting Crew and collaborations with Meatloaf, Tony brings decades of experience and stagecraft to this unique solo performance. 

Awake blends immersive visuals, cutting-edge graphics, and soul-stirring music into a journey of self-discovery that explores truth, meaning, and love in today’s world.

World-class clarinet and piano duo come to Harrogate

The Old Swan Hotel is hosting a recital showcasing two exceptional international artists this Sunday. 

Rising British clarinettist Mebrakh Haughton-Johnson, a graduate of the Royal College of Music and the Juilliard School, has already performed at major venues including Carnegie Hall and made his U.S. concerto debut in 2024 with the Springfield Symphony Orchestra. 

Joining him is award-winning pianist Kumi Matsuo, whose international career has taken her to leading stages such as Wigmore Hall and Tokyo Opera City Hall. 

Together, they will put on a compelling morning of chamber music in Harrogate.

Master Middle Eastern cuisine in a hands-on cooking session

Set in a stunning country kitchen with breathtaking views of the Swinton Estate grounds and the Yorkshire Dales, the class provides all ingredients and equipment and encourages a fully hands-on approach. 

Recipes attendees may cook include the likes of Iman Bayeldi with griddled halloumi, Moroccan chicken, roast aubergine with saffron yoghurt, chicken with almonds and yoghurt, feta, tomato and basil borek, and a zesty orange cake.
