It was time for James Potter to say cheese today as he unveiled the signage on his new Ripon retail venture.
The Little Truckle will soon be selling artisan cheeses in The Arcade.
Mr Potter knows The Arcade well: in July he opened The Greengrocer Ripon, which incorporates a deli run by his friends Reece and Alice Norton, in the location.
He told the Stray Ferret today (November 3):
With the closure of Booths, I thought there's a gap in the market for lovers of fine, artisan-made cheese and I had a big smile on my face when i was able to agree terms for taking over the vacant unit just feet away from The Greengrocer.

The new shop faces onto The Greengrocer and Norton's Deli.
He added:
The unit is wedge-shaped, but I decided not to call my new business The Cheese Wedge and instead went for the tantalising name of The Little Truckle, which is what the cylindrical wheels of craftsman-made cheeses are known as.
We will be opening later this month and will sell a range of famous upmarket cheeses from the UK and across Europe and will, of course, be stocking locally-produced Wensleydale.
