People wanting to discuss issues relating to policing and community safety are invited to visit the next online surgery with Jo Coles, the Deputy Mayor for Policing, Fire and Crime, for York and North Yorkshire.

The Deputy Mayor holds monthly virtual advice surgeries for residents and businesses across the region, and details are published online here.

The next one will take place tomorrow (Wednesday, May 7) from 11am until 1pm.

Jo Coles, Deputy Mayor for Policing, Fire and Crime, for York and North Yorkshire, said:

These appointments give York and North Yorkshire residents the chance to raise any issues or questions they have about crime, policing or community safety with me privately.

The Mayor and I really want to make York and North Yorkshire a safe place for everyone, so these advice surgeries will provide that opportunity to discuss any concerns.

The surgeries take place on MS Teams, but appointments can also take place by phone. They will run on an appointment-only basis, and each appointment lasts 15 minutes.

Appointments cannot be made to discuss any live investigations, whether about a police complaint or a criminal matter, as doing so could jeopardise the investigation.

To book a meeting, fill in an appointment enquiry form here, or email info@northyorkshire-pfcc.gov.uk.
