A woman has appeared in court accused of inflicting grievous bodily harm without intent on a 79-year-old woman on Knaresborough High Street.

Estelle Bradley, 44, of no fixed address, is alleged to have pushed the victim to the pavement close to a passing heavy goods vehicle.

She suffered a cut on her head that needed gluing at hospital.

The incident is said to have happened on the High Street at around 11.30am on October, 17 2025.

Ms Bradley was traced and arrested following a CCTV appeal by North Yorkshire Police.

She has also been charged with assaulting an emergency worker, a police officer, at Harrogate Police Station on 28 April 2026.

This occurred in custody while she was being charged with the other offence.

Ms Bradley appeared at York Magistrates Court today (April 29)

She was remanded in custody and is due back in court on June 1 this year.
