Harrogate's 2024 Floral Summer of Celebration is set to return in two weeks' time.

In line with the Royal Horticultural Society celebrating its 60th anniversary this year, the trail is returning under a 'friendship' theme, to highlight the relationships formed through community gardening.

Ten floral exhibits will be placed around the town, at the Yorkshire Hotel, Montpellier, the Piazza area at the Victoria Shopping Centre, the Cenotaph, Library Gardens, West Park Church, Montpellier Hill, Nicholls Tyreman, James Street and on Cambridge Place.

The displays will range from a swing set and arches to a floral 'HG1' sign, each with a QR code available to access more information.

Last year's Floral Celebration saw Harrogate BID win gold in the BIDs, Town Centres, and City Centres category at the Britain in Bloom awards.

Bethan Allen, business and marketing executive at Harrogate BID, said:

We're putting the last preparations in place to get the displays underway.

We're very much looking forward to welcoming visitors to the trail across the two weeks, as well as the In Bloom judges.

The 2024 Floral Summer of Celebration returns to Harrogate on July 19 for two weeks.
