Tewit Silver Band kick off the year with a special concert at Harrogate Theatre on Friday, February 13, celebrating the 60th anniversary of fundraising group, the Friends of Harrogate Hospital.
The region’s only Championship Section band, joined by world-renowned cornet virtuoso Professor Roger Webster, promises an evening of top-class brass, marking both their meteoric rise since 2017 and the launch of their new Besson instruments.

With a lively programme of classics and popular favourites, the concert is raising money for two great causes, the Friends of Harrogate Hospital and Harrogate Theatre.

Harrogate Theatre Choir celebrates Valentine’s Day with Love Stories, a four-act production that explores love in all its forms – from first passion and unrequited longing to heartbreak and enduring romance.
Drawing on a century of musical theatre from Hollywood, Broadway and the West End, the show features music by Sondheim, Bernstein, Porter, Berlin and Lloyd Webber, with songs from Moulin Rouge, West Side Story, Chess and more.
Set in romantic French cafés and restaurants, Love Stories runs at Harrogate Studio Theatre, offering an emotionally rich evening of music and storytelling.

Nunnington Hall reopens this Saturday.
The country house will be welcoming visitors back to its riverside manor and gardens as early spring blooms begin to appear.
The newly redesigned Iris Garden will be on display for its first full season, while families can enjoy a Jungle Book–themed half-term trail and the Lion’s Den play area.
The photography exhibition All the Woods a Stage also starts this Saturday and continues until 29 March, and the Tea Room will be serving seasonal treats.
