Watch The Tiger Who Came to Tea at Harrogate Theatre
The Tiger Who Came to Tea is coming to Harrogate Theatre direct from the West End. This stage adaptation of Judith Kerr’s beloved children’s classic is filled with catchy songs, laughter and plenty of family-friendly fun.
Young audiences will be enchanted by the colourful characters and imaginative storytelling, while parents and grandparents can enjoy rediscovering a cherished favourite from their own childhood.

See historic vehicles to return to Harrogate town centre
More than 60 veteran and pre-war vehicles are expected to visit Harrogate this weekend as part of the Yorkshire Veteran Car Rally on Saturday.
The historic cars will be displayed in the town centre as part of the Harrogate Concours, which brings together some of the earliest examples of motoring alongside modern supercars and luxury vehicles.
The veteran cars, many dating from the earliest years of the motor car, will be on display around The Yorkshire Hotel and James Street, offering visitors a chance to see a unique collection of automotive history up close.
The Grand Départ will take place at 3pm.
Free, June 20, from 10am-3pm with the veteran and pre-war vehicles being on display from approximately 11.30am to 2.30pm, vehicles will be displayed around The Yorkshire Hotel and along James Street.
Attend a free outdoor yoga event
A free community yoga session will be held at the Bandstand Area in Valley Gardens, Harrogate, on Sunday, June 21, to celebrate International Yoga Day.
Organised by Killinghall-based yoga teacher Guneet Khurana, founder of Ujjayi Yoga, the event is open to people of all ages and abilities, including complete beginners.
Guneet teaches with a focus on breathwork, mindfulness and the connection between mind and body, with the aim of making yoga accessible to the wider community. The session will include gentle yoga movement, breathing techniques (pranayama), meditation and AUM chanting, offering participants an opportunity to experience the broader benefits of yoga in a relaxed outdoor setting.
Participants are encouraged to bring a yoga mat, water, and a blanket or cushion if desired, and to wear comfortable clothing.

Go to a traditional agricultural show at Otterington Hall
The North Yorkshire County Agricultural Show will return to Otterington Hall, near Northallerton, on Sunday, June 21.
Following a change in ownership of the Grade II-listed hall, organisers have confirmed that the event will continue to be staged in its historic parkland setting with the support of the new owners.
The annual show will feature more than 100 trade, craft and food stalls, alongside a wide range of agricultural attractions including livestock classes, show jumping, light and heavy horse competitions, vintage tractors and cars, farrier demonstrations and a fun dog show.
Highlights in the main ring are set to include the Grand Parade of Champions and the Parade of the Hurworth Hunt Hounds. To mark Father’s Day, organisers are offering special dining voucher packages alongside advance show tickets.
