Go to the opening weekend of Harrogate’s panto

The much-loved Harrogate panto is back and this year it’s Beauty and the Beast.

A tradition for many families, this classic tale tells the story that beauty is only skin-deep and the panto promises silliness, a touch of sparkle and fun.

Written by Harrogate Theatre’s David Bown, December's seats are selling fast but there’s still some availability, and tickets are also available for the New Year.

From £15, various times, until January 19, Harrogate Theatre, 6 Oxford Street, Harrogate, HG1 1QF.

Listen to live music and vocals at Lilypad

Harrogate singer songwriter Henri Gaston is performing at Lilypad this Friday.

The singer songwriter multi-instrumentalist will be playing some acoustic soul and pop covers as well as his own material.

The live music makes a nice addition while enjoying the flavours of Asian and South American-inspired dishes that the restaurant is known for.

From 8pm, 134 King’s Road, Harrogate, HG1 5HY.
