Bettys Café Tea Rooms at Harlow Carr is set to close for nearly a month.

It will be closed between September 7 and October 5 for refurbishment.

During the closure, both the café and shop will be shut while work takes place to refresh the destination.

RHS Garden Harlow Carr will remain open as usual throughout the refurbishment, with a range of alternative food and drink options available for visitors, and other Bettys stores will still be open.

Liz Thwaite, head of site at Harlow Carr, said:

We’re delighted to see the refurbishment of Bettys Harlow Carr and to continue our long-standing partnership with such an iconic Yorkshire brand.

While the work takes place, RHS Garden Harlow Carr remains open as usual, with plenty for visitors to enjoy, including a range of additional catering and refreshment options available across the garden throughout the closure period.

When Bettys Harlow Carr reopens there will be a brand-new Bettys To Go Window at the entrance to Harlow Carr, making it easier for visitors to pick up favourite picnic essentials before heading into the gardens. Table bookings at Bettys Harlow Carr will also be available.
