    Boroughbridge man fined for damaging window in Easingwold

    A local man was sentenced for criminal damage at York Magistrates Court on Monday (February 17).

    Michael Sherwood, of Kirby View in Langthorpe, pleaded guilty to one count of criminal damage to property valued under £5,000.

    Court documents say Sherwood damaged at window at a property on Market Place in Easingwold on November 17, 2023.

    The 28-year-old was ordered to pay £500 in compensation.
