Buses to replace trains on part of Harrogate line
Passengers are being warned that buses will replace trains on part of the Harrogate line next month.
Trains between Poppleton and York will have a bus replacement service as engineering work is carried out.
Work is set to take place on October 24 and 25, as well as on October 31 and November 1.
The changes will affect those in Harrogate, Starbeck and Knaresborough who use the line towards York.
Northern, which operates services on the Harrogate line, has urged passengers to check their journeys before they travel on the affected dates.
The train operator said:
Please be advised that replacement vehicles may be busier than usual, and you should allow extra time for your journey.
