A Boroughbridge-based property company has announced changes to coincide with its 10th anniversary.
The Search Partnership has merged with The Commercial Partnership and The Land Management Partnership to form one company — The Property Partnership Group.
The Property Partnership Group now has four divisions specialising in property search, commercial property, rural consultancy and investment.
Toby Milbank, from The Property Partnership Group, said:
Over the past decade, Tom Robinson and I have helped hundreds of clients find and buy country houses, townhouses, sporting estates and farms, as well as finding forestry and investment property opportunities across Yorkshire and the North of England.
For the last three years we have worked alongside Edgar Seligman and Blair Wallace from our base in Boroughbridge. However, over time we have been working more closely together, often providing multiple services to the same client. We therefore felt the time was right to operate as one business, re-brand and launch a new website. We feel together we have a powerful and compelling offering.
Fellow director Blair Wallace said:
We are all proud of the small businesses that we have run successfully. Pooling our knowledge base and experience in a more coherent way will allow us to grow the business together.

Paul Hunter, general manager, said:
We are thrilled to have Struan leading a new era for Samuel’s here at Swinton Park, and we are looking forward to how he takes forward our estate-to-plate ethos of bringing the freshest, estate-grown and reared produce to the discerning classic British and European dining audience here.

The York & North Yorkshire Growth Hub has announced the launch of the new cohort for the North Yorkshire Stars investment readiness programme.
This initiative aims to support and prepare a fresh group of regional start-ups and early-stage businesses for investment opportunities.
The programme is a fully-funded 12-hour support initiative that offers a blend of in-person and virtual workshops.
It is open to businesses across all sectors. The course is designed to be inclusive and supportive of diverse founders, helping them refine their business models, access funding, and pitch effectively to investors.
David Skaith, Mayor of York and North Yorkshire, said:
The North Yorkshire Stars Programme has proven to be a vital resource for our entrepreneurs. It not only equips them with the necessary skills and knowledge to attract investment but also fosters a spirit of innovation and inclusivity. I am confident that this new cohort will continue to build on the success of the previous one and further strengthen our local economy.
This project is funded by the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. The funding was allocated by North Yorkshire Council and is available exclusively to businesses registered in the North Yorkshire Council area.
Businesses can learn more about the programme and sign up at the launch event on 23rd September 2024. For further details click here.
