Business Breakfast: Harrogate accountancy practice set to expand
A firm of chartered accountants and business advisers, which has an office in Harrogate, is set to expand into Leeds later this year.
Saffery currently employs more than 70 people in Yorkshire and has had an office in Harrogate since 1992.
The company today said its new Wellington Place office sits "in the heart of Leeds city centre’s financial and professional services district".
The office will house all Saffery’s Yorkshire services, which include audit and accounting, corporate tax and VAT, business advisory and personal tax.
Saffery partner and head of the firm’s Yorkshire office, Jonathan Davis, said:

Harrogate IT Supplier becomes government alliance member
Harrogate based provider of IT solutions, Techbuyer, has been announced as one of the newest members of the Government Digital Sustainability Alliance.
The alliance works alongside the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra), to help inform government on sustainable IT best practice.
Their place on the alliance allows the company to advise on sustainable development for IT infrastructure within government and explore circularity for the IT sector more fully.
