Canadian actor Kiefer Sutherland has been pictured in Knaresborough.
Mr Sutherland, who is known for his leading role in the television series 24, was pictured on what appears to be the set of a film in the market town, surrounded by people in hi-vis jackets.
It is understood Studio KS1, the production firm which produced "A Very British Christmas", has decided to return to the town to begin filming on another festive film after previously doing so in 2019.
The name of the movie or any further details have not been released.
Shooting has already started and will take place over the course of this week, between January 28 and 31. Residents pictured multiple trailers parked in Conyngham Hall today.

Knaresborough West division Cllr Matt Walker told the Stray Ferret that the production team had approached North Yorkshire Council with a proposal to use Knaresborough’s car parks for storing crew and vehicles.
He said:
The clerk and I asked that it was clearly communicated for residents, and I asked that the fee (several thousand pounds) for the use of the carparks was invested in Knaresborough for the benefit of the residents.
It comes as no surprise to me that the film crew wanted to film in Knaresborough especially after the success of the Christmas market. I am very lucky to live in such an amazing town with a brilliant community and such iconic views of the viaduct and river and castle.
The Stray Ferret approached KS1 Studio to ask for details on the film, but had not received a response by the time of publication.
Mr Sutherland is not the only famous actor to pay a visit to Knaresborough over the last 12 months.
In May last year, James Bond star Pierce Brosnan was in town and visited Yorkshire Eyewear, on High Street, after he came in with "a problem with his glasses".
