North Yorkshire Police today released an image of a man officers would like to speak to following an attempted fraud in Harrogate.
The force said the incident, which happened at B&Q on Oak Beck Road, took place on July 19.
A man entered the store and requested a refund for items he had taken off the shelf and had not purchased, police added.
Officers said the incident was identified after a credit note was issued and CCTV footage was reviewed.
They are now appealing for information:
