A Christmas Funland is set to launch in Harrogate this winter.

The event, organised by Northallerton-based events company Crow Leisure Group Ltd, will take place at The Yorkshire Event Centre over the festive period.

Crow Leisure Group Ltd previously held the Fun in the Park at Valley Gardens event earlier this year.

The event will begin on December 14 and last until Christmas Eve and promises to host “everything you need to enjoy the holidays in style.”

The company shared an update on social media announcing their return to Harrogate.

Its post said:

Join us at the Yorkshire Event Centre for a Christmas adventure like no other. This indoor Christmas funland is packed with 3 hours of unlimited fun for the whole family, all under one roof.

The company are set to install an ice skating rink at the venue, the news comes after North Yorkshire Council confirmed the ice skating rink used last year in Crescent Gardens will not return this Christmas.

The announcement promises to bring adventure golf, fair rides and pantomime shows. The event will be hosted by elves, the Grinch and Santa.

The Yorkshire Grinch will be played by actor Ryan Swain, who said:

I'm so excited to be bringing the character to this magnificent event. The Yorkshire Grinch has been inundated this year, the popularity of the character is incredible. I’m looking forward to entertaining you everybody at the Harrogate Showground this December, make sure you bring him an onion.

Tickets are priced between £24.50 and £31.50 each and include three hours of unlimited rides.

The Stray Ferret contacted Crow Leisure Group for more information but did not receive a response by time of publication.
