Charities serving Ripon and surrounding areas have received a boost from a bumper annual fundraising event.
The 2025 Ripon Classic Car Gathering attracted more than 1,000 entries and thousands of visitors.
It raised £11,000, which was shared between eight organisations at last week's presentation evening held in Hazel House.
The principal beneficiaries from this year's gathering held at Ripon Racecourse on July 27 were Yorkshire Cancer Research and the Harrogate and district branch of Macmillan Cancer Support.
They received £4,000 apiece from funds raised through entry fees.to the event, where classic cars, motorcycles, commercial vehicles and tractors were on display.

Chloe Glen of Yorkshire Cancer Research, said:
This is a milestone year for our charity, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary and since 1925, we have united with the people of Yorkshire to bring life-saving breakthroughs and discoveries in cancer research.
This has only been possible thanks to the dedication of researchers and the unwavering support of people across the county, including those here tonight.
Phill Greetham, the chair of RCCG, was on hand to present cheques to each of the charietes and afterwards he told the Stray Ferret:
This was our 30th gathering and over the years we have raised almost £250,000, which has enabled us to make donations to a broad range of charities to help support the wonderful work that they do.
Awards of £500 apiece were also made to: Martin House Children's Hospice, Ripon Men's Shed, Safe and Sound Homes, Trinity Ward at Ripon Hospital, Yorkshire Air Ambulance and Ripon YMCA.
