Christmas is rapidly approaching and locations across the Harrogate district are preparing to stay open later for Christmas shopping.
Ripon held its late night shopping on November 28 and Harrogate's Christmas fayre is ongoing.
But there's plenty happening nearby, starting in Boroughbridge.
Here's what's coming up.
Boroughbridge will begin the festive late night shopping on Wednesday (December 4).
The Christmas tree lights will be switched on in Hall Square at 5.30pm and school choirs from Boroughbridge Primary, Roecliffe Primary and Boroughbridge High will sing carols.
Boroughbridge Community Choir will perform at the fountain in St James’ Square, and the local Lovepop choir will sing in Hall Square.
Boroughbridge Lions will have Santa and his sleigh on display, and numerous community groups will have stalls. The scouts will have their usual roast chestnuts stall alongside the mulled wine and mince pies stall, which is being run by Boroughbridge Community Care this year.
Local businesses will open late into the evening and there will be refreshments and an appearance from Father Christmas.

Businesses in Pateley Bridge will open late on Friday, December 6. Festivities will begin with a lantern parade at 5.30pm from the auction mart and then the late-night shopping starts at 6pm.
There will be music, refreshments and even reindeer to visit.
Knaresborough has two nights of late night Christmas shopping coming up, on December 12 and 19. Over 20 independent shops are expected to take part.
